Purpose

Parlons A1 is an independent French A1 learning aid. It offers practice questions, example responses and automated feedback. It is not an official DELF assessment service and is not endorsed by France Éducation international.

Learning feedback

The evaluation system uses approximate keyword and pattern matching. It may accept incorrect French or reject valid French. Browser speech-recognition transcripts can be inaccurate and cannot establish a formal pronunciation score. No grade or certificate is awarded.

Availability

Some features depend on the user's browser, permissions, speech-service availability and device. The service may change or become unavailable without notice.

Acceptable use

Use the exercises lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the site's hosting or misrepresent the site's independent status.

Content and attribution

Original site code and newly authored example dialogues were prepared for this project. Study prompts are adapted from user-provided preparation materials. The site does not reproduce the scanned worksheets as public downloads or claim ownership of third-party examination materials. Confirm rights and permissions before publishing any additional copyrighted images, documents or branding.

Liability and law

Educational material is provided on an as-available basis, subject to applicable law. Nothing here excludes any legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not make the site immune to legal claims. The site operator must obtain appropriate legal advice for the jurisdiction and deployment circumstances where necessary.

Operator information

The eventual publisher should add their operator name, contact details, and any legally required disclosures before public launch.
